1. Lawn Inspection

We will take a look at your lawn for soil compaction and thatch density and any disease issues.

2. Fertilize

Much like our bodies grass needs a balanced diet. Missouri grasses need a diet that consists of nutrients, water and sunlight. We will set up a fertilization schedule during the months of April-October it is important the make multiple fertilization treatments. Preferred Pest and Lawn utilizes both liquid and granular fertilizers.

Yes, mowing your lawn once a week is recommended for two reasons. First, mowing each week will reduce weeds in your lawn, and second, regular mowing will keep your grass healthy and vigorous.

WHEN SHOULD I AERATE MY LAWN?

Aerating your lawn is best done when it is growing. You want your lawn to be able to recover quickly from aeration. We see the best aeration results when it is done in the fall.
